I haven't tried a portrait yet. I think it'd be difficult as you have to get the model to sit exactly in the same position while you take ~40 photos.

that is cool, how long did it take to line all of those photos up?

Originally I did it by hand with A4 sized photos, and that took 2 hours. This version I did on Fireworks, and only took about 1 hour.
